Oaks Altes (Imp)
Now being campaigned by Amanda Madigan, Altes has been competing very successfully at Grand Prix level and has stepped up this season to World Cup starts. She is sharp in front and has a spectacular back-end. With Darco's influence in her pedigree Altes has a great attitude to work, but is also a sensitive, responsive mare.
Altes was this year Sydney Easter Show Part 2 Champion. She has already gained places at World Cup Qualifiers, and was fourth at the inagural Sydney Equitana.
Her offspring are Cortez (x Conquistaor, owned by Anna McGregor), Altador (by Conquistador, owned by Rhys Stones) and this season's foal Volta, a very handsome colt by Vivant.
