We at Twins Performance Horses have used Oaks Sport Horses Stud on a number of occasions to assist us with our breeding program.
The standards at Oaks Sport Horses are extremely high and the level of service that we have received from them has been exceptional. We have regular updates from stud manager, Natalie, about the progress of our mares and foals, which gives us peace of mind as we know the horses are in good hands.
We have sent a number of mares to Oaks Sport Horses for foaling and both the mares and foals have been returned to us in great condition and the foals have been well-handled. We are very happy with the work and standards at OSH and will be using them in the future, and we highly recommend them.

I am a rider from Victoria who is 56 years old and I wanted to purchase a started, "quiet", purpose-bred horse to replace my current A & B Grade horse in the next year or two.
We approached the "Oaks S.H." family and were shown what was in work and available for sale. we were told Oaks Kosmo was an easy ride with lots of scope. We saw several DVDs of him competing up to 1.10 over a 6 month period and he seemed to be exactly as we were told. We went to the Australian Championships in Dubbo, rode, tried and bought him (after which he won the 5yo Young Horse Class).
Since purchasing Oaks Kosmo he has never put a foot out of place and has shown us he is all that we were looking for. We are excited about his future and will definitely be returning to Oaks Sport Horses should we require another lovely young horse.

Thank you so much for the DVD of Monty. I really enjoyed watching you riding Monty on the flat and over jumps. It was a real pleasure to see Monty being ridden so well, and in such a kind and considerate manner. I have shown the DVD to a number of friends and everyone is most impressed. Also, I have to comment on the quality of the recording and production. I must say, I am most impressed by how well you (as in you and Oaks Sport Horses) present / market yourselves (and that coming from someone who has spent many years working as a Marketing Manager for a number of large corporations). I have rarely encountered such professionalism in the horse world.
i am so pleased that I decided to send Monty to you for training after accident. Despite my injury, I now feel determined to keep going with him and hopefully in the not too distant future to be able to compete with him. Whilst my back is improving all the time, I am not yet back to full strength / fitness, so if you are able, I would love it if you could ride him for me at Camden or another of our local horse trials .In the meantime, a big thank you for all of your hard work,

We were delighted with the service and facilities that the Oaks Sport Horses organization provided. Our mares and foals were in a first class environment and came home in better condition than they left. The management is outstanding and I can thoroughly recommend this facility.

Hi Alice,
Thought you would like to know that Anna and horses arrived home safely on Friday night. Cortez travelled really well, he just had one tantrum about getting on the truck, the rest of the time he was fine. What a lovely boy he is! I am really pleased with him. He is so well put together and has a lovely temperament. You prepared him really well for the journey. He has such a shiney coat. Can you please tell me what you bathed him with as I would like to use it. He has settled in very well. It always helps when they love their food as much as he does. He has been very sensible out in the paddock with his new friend and doesn’t seem bothered by much. We will take good care of him and will keep in touch and let you know how he is going.
Thank you for making it such an easy and pleasant experience purchasing a horse. It has not always been my experience.

We first discovered Oaks Sporthorses in 2008 when we were on the look out for a nicely bred young warmblood filly. Being in WA and having not traveled to the east coast for some time we were unaware of Alice and Hilary and simply found Oaks Sporthorses from a web search. We were quite overwhelmed by the amount of nice young horses Oaks had to offer, all with fantastic pedigrees. My wife Rebecca and I decided to head over to NSW to have a look at some these horses in the flesh. To say we were impressed was an understatement. We did end up buying a lovely filly by Vivant out of Oaks Vedette and couldn’t be happier with her.
Alice and the crew at Oaks Sporthorses were an absolute pleasure to deal with and really could not have made us feel more welcome. We are still in regular contact with Alice and Hilary and both my wife and I hope to head back there again one day to find another nice young horse to add to our Oaks collection!
In addition to their professional and friendly management of their stud, Alice also found the time to assist with short-term agistment when we had just imported out new stallion ‘Chicago’. Their professionalism and generosity certainly took any anxiety and stress out of a long journey for Chicago and ourselves.
I would certainly urge anyone who is serious about purchasing a well bred warmblood horse to make Oaks Sporthorses their first stop.
