The Casting x Vivant has produced an elegant, refined mare.

Casting’s progeny are turning heads as they begin their competition careers – Cheetah, Cockatoo and Chickadee are already making their marks. Casting adds a great canter and technique, temperament, work ethic to his progeny. Vivant scope and technique are legendary, as are his soundness and good foundations: he competed himself at a top level to an advanced age, and the 18 year old Eventer Virgil competed admirably at Paris Olympics. Castaway is proving an exciting broodmare; her progeny are alert and energetic, with light frames and refined but strong legs. They show a natural impulsion as well as being clever on their feet – ideal for the show jumper and particularly interesting for eventing.
