We are extremely proud to share that Jack Barker and Oaks Cryptic have been selected to represent Australia in the Young Rider competition at Aachen in 2026.
The prestigious CSIY competition will be held alongside the FEI World Championships, giving some of Australia’s most promising young riders the opportunity to compete on one of the greatest equestrian stages in the world.
Jack and Oaks Cryptic have already formed a very exciting partnership, and their selection for Aachen is a wonderful recognition of the performances they have produced together. Competing at a venue with the history and atmosphere of Aachen will be an invaluable experience for them both.
They will be joined on the Australian team by Charlie Magnier and Notre Dame de Bourguignon, with Hannah Doolan and Checkbook named as the reserve combination.
We congratulate Jack and everyone who has contributed to Oaks Cryptic’s journey. Watching an Oaks-bred horse represent Australia is always an enormously proud moment, and we cannot wait to follow Jack and Cryptic as they take on this exciting international opportunity.
