Oaks-bred Chaccolino Stars in Dublin with Jordan Coyle

It was a proud moment for Oaks Sport Horses this week, as Irish rider Jordan Coyle and Chaccolino (previously Oaks Charleston), bred right here at Oaks, claimed victory in the prestigious CSIO5* 1.60m Cashel Palace Hotel Stakes at the Dublin Horse Show.

In a class that drew 43 of the world’s best horse-and-rider combinations, the 14-year-old gelding (Chacco-Blue x Heartbreaker) showed his trademark speed and scope, delivering a brilliant clear in the jump-off and stopping the clock at 37.19 seconds. Only five combinations made it through to the deciding round, and just three managed to finish fault-free. Coyle and Chaccolino were untouchable, taking top honours ahead of USA’s McLain Ward with Imperial HBF (38.56) and Brazil’s Rodrigo Pessoa on Major Tom (41.18).

For Oaks Sport Horses, this win is a celebration of the quality and consistency that our breeding program strives for.
